By now, it is expected that the notice of motion itself may have been disposed of. In any case, the learned Trial Judge is directed to dispose of the notice of motion, on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the authenticated copy of this order. At this stage, it will not be appropriate to grant any ad-interim reliefs.

3] The record indicates that even in the past, i.e., 17 November 2015, neither the appellant nor his advocate were present. 1/2

Upon disposal of main appeal, the civil application seeking stay does not survive and the same is also disposed of. 5] The Registry is directed to forward an authenticated copy of this order to the City Civil Court at Greater Bombay within two weeks from today..

6] All concerned to act on the basis of the authenticated copy of this order.
