The above Writ Petition has been filed challenging the minutes of the meeting dated 18-7-2014 in the Chamber of the then Hon'ble Minister of State for Co-operation, Government of Maharashtra, which meeting was in respect of resolving the problems facing the VasantDada Patil Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. The Petitioner seems to be aggrieved by the fact that out of the sale proceeds of the land there was no allocation made towards the workers dues as can be seen from the minutes of the said meeting. The Petitioners' Union it seems had filed Complaint ULP as well as invoked the jurisdiction of the authorities under the Payment of Gratuity Act. In our view, if any such proceedings are filed, the same would undoubtedly would have to be decided on their own merits and in accordance with law and the minutes of the mmj

wp-3393-16(7) meeting dated 18-7-2014 and the decisions taken therein would obviously not come in the way of the Petitioners from seeking appropriate reliefs. With the aforesaid observations, the above Writ Petition is disposed of.
