The Applicant has applied for transit bail apprehending his arrest in C.R.No.180/2023 registered at Maqboolpura, Police Commissionerate, Amritsar for the offences punishable under section 19 of The Fertilizers (Control) Order, 1985 and sections 3, 7, 10 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and sections 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Learned counsel for the Applicant, under instructions, states that the Applicant shall appear before the appropriate Court in Amritsar and file an application for pre-arrest bail. He seeks transit bail as to enable the Applicant to approach the appropriate Court. 3.

Considering the apprehension of the Applicant, he is entitled for transit bail. Hence, the following order :- 1/2

Jayani 34 ABA2133.2023.doc (a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Huzefa Khorakiwala in C.R.No.180/2023 registered at Maqboolpura, Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, he shall be released on transit bail for a period of 10 days on furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount ; (b) This protection is granted for a period of 10 days from the date of the order to enable the Applicant to approach the Competent Court for seeking appropriate relief. 4.

The Application stands disposed of.
