These applications are registered on the basis of communication sent by the convict from the prison. The prayers are for condontion of delay in preferring the appeal by him and the applicant be provided legal aid by appointing an Advocate to represent him at the cost of the State.

The delay occasioned is only of six days. From averments made in the application, it is seen that because of poor Gaikwad RD 1/2

In this view of the matter, Mr.Shantanu Phanse, the learned Advocate on the Panel of Legal Aid of this court is appointed to represent the applicant/accused accused. The registry to supply all necessary papers to Shri.Phanse, the appointed Counsel.

The delay occasioned in preferring the appeal is condoned.
