Mr. Rahul Kadam, counsel for the petitioner submits that appeal of the petitioner is pending before the State Government, which was preferred under Section 39 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act.

The petitioner has also taken out application for grant of interim relief which he informs is not considered till this date.

In view of above, the petition stands disposed of. 5.

It is directed that application of the petitioner for grant of stay be decided expeditiously in any case within period of four weeks from today.
