We are not concerned with the demand raised on the petitioner for its legality and validity can be questioned, on the own showing of the learned AGP, by approaching a higher authority and that higher authority, namely, Sub-Divisional Officer, Vasai has also been approached by the petitioners. If he has been approached and any proceedings are pending before him concerning the petitioners, we direct that the same be disposed of in accordance with law and within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioners. Let the petitioners appear before that authority on 9th February, 2018.
