Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. None appears for the respondents. A very limited grievance is made in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The first petitioner is running the 2nd petitioner's school. It is pointed out that on 27th December, 2012, a proposal for grant of approval to the appointment of the 3rd petitioner as a "Shikshan Sevak" was submitted by the headmaster of the 2nd petitioner to the 2nd respondent. It appears that on the very day, another proposal was submitted by the headmaster of the 2nd petitioner for grant of approval to the

rpa 2/3 appointment of 4th petitioner as "Shikshan Sevak". On 26th September, 2013 the headmaster of the 2nd petitioner submitted a proposal to the 2nd respondent for grant of approval to the appointment of the 5th petitioner as "Shikshan Sevak". The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners on instructions states that as of today, to the knowledge of the petitioners, the said proposals have not been decided. We accept the said statement. In view of the statement, we pass the following order:

:: O R D E R ::

(i) We direct the representatives of the 1st and 2nd petitioners to appear before the 2nd respondent The Education Officer [Secondary], Zilla Parishad, Solapur on 29th April, 2016 at 11.00 a.m. The 1st and 2nd petitioners shall produce copies of the aforesaid three proposals along with the copies of the accompanying documents before the 2nd respondent on that day. An authenticated copy of this order shall be also produced alongwith copies of the aforesaid documents;

rpa 3/3 (ii) If the said proposals have been already disposed of, the copies of the orders passed on the proposals be forthwith supplied to the representatives of the 1st and 2nd petitioners. If the proposals are pending, the Education Officer shall dispose of the same by 31st May, 2016 and communicate the orders passed on the proposals to the 1st and 2nd petitioners within a period of one week from 31st May, 2015;

(iii) We make it clear that we have not examined the merits of the pending proposals;

(iv) The 2nd respondent shall act upon an authenticated copy of this order;
