DATE: 1st August, 2017 P.C.:- Present Petition is filed invoking the provisions of Section 48(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that subsequent to the Act No. 30 of 2013 if compensation is not paid as on 01/01/2014, since the Award is passed in 1988, acquisition proceedings itself will lapse. However, neither the pleadings nor relief is directed under those provisions or provisions of the Act No.30 of 2013. In that view of the matter, Petition is disposed of, reserving liberty to the Petitioner to file a fresh Petition invoking the provisions of Act No.30 of 2013. (N.M. JAMDAR, J. ) (CHIEF JUSTICE) 1/1
