Considering the grievance raised in the letter petition, this Court called for a report from the office. Accordingly, the office has submitted report.

Today, learned APP Mrs. Shinde too presented a report of Superintendent, Nashik Road Central Prison. It is stated in the report that the Petitioner had paid the fine amount and he has been released from prison on 2nd April 2022 after he had undergone the imprisonment for the period of 8 years, 3 months and 5 days. In view of this report, the grievance raised in the writ petition no more survives. The petition is accordingly disposed of.

Office / Committee to quantify and pay the fees of appointed advocate as per the extant Rules.
