1] Applicants are seeking pre-arrest bail in C.R. No. 303/2021 registered with Vasai Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 472, 474, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 39 and 192 of the Motor Vehicles Act. 2] Prosecution story is, the vehicle which was sold by Embassy in scrap was purchased by the applicant based on the forged R.T.O. registration documents.

3] It appears from the record that forged documents which are formed to be basis for registration of the offence are already in the custody of the Investigating Offcer seized from other co-accused. The vehicle is also seized.

4] In the aforesaid background, applicants already having cooperated the Investigating Offcer, in my opinion, deserve protection.

(i) In the event of arrest of the applicants in C.R. No. 303/2021 registered with Vasai Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 472, 474, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 39 and 192 of the Motor Vehicles Act, they be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) Applicants shall neither infuence prosecution witnesses in any manner nor tamper with evidence. 2/3

(iii) Applicants to attend Investigating Offcer on 20/10/2021, 22/10/2021, 25/10/2021 and 28/10/2021 between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and thereafter as and when directed.
