DATE : 16 NOVEMBER 2021 P.C. :- The Petitioner has sought a direction that the Respondent - Police Authorities to take proper penal action against the Respondent No.4 under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and such other applicable Acts. 2.

The Petitioner has a remedy of approaching the concerned Police Authorities under Section 154 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The representations annexed to the Petition are

28. WP 3754.21.doc general and addressed to different authorities such as Minister for Urban Development, etc. which is not a methodology contemplated under the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Accepting that the Petitioner has not adopted of the procedure under Section 154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that appropriate methodology will be followed.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of in the light of the above.
