P.C.:- By an Order dated 31st July, 2018, the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to report to the concerned Police Station on stipulated dates, to join the process of investigation. Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State. Perused the record of investigation. It is a fact on record that the applicant has performed marriage with the prosecutrix. It is alleged in the First Information Report that, the applicant forced the prosecutrix to perform the marriage and also established physical relations with her. It appears from the record that the reasons recorded in the Order dated 31st July, 2018 are in consonance with the record of investigation. The record 1/2

Ladda 13-aba-1523-18.doc further indicates that, in pursuance to the Order dated 31st July, 2018 the applicant has attended the concerned Police Station and has joined the process of investigation. After perusing the record this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the present applicant for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary.

In view of the above, interim bail granted by Order dated 31st July, 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the concerned Investigating Officer/concerned Police Station is waived. Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. (A.S. GADKARI, J.) 2/2
