Mr. Garge,learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that during the pendency of the petition, the petitioner has filed a fresh representation dated 1st January, 2018 before the Principal SecretaryRevenue and Forest, Maharashtra Shashan, Mantralaya, Divisional Commissioner-Pune and Collector, Satara. A copy of the said representation is placed on record. Mr. Garge, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if the said representation is directed to be decided by the Collector, Satara. Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

In the light of the above, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by passing the following order : 1.
The respondent No.4-Collector, Satara, is directed to decide the petitioner's said representation expeditiously.
2.
It is made clear that we have not gone into the merit of the matter and the respondent No.4 shall decide the petitioner's said representation independently on its own merits and in accordance with law.
3.
In order to enable the respondent No.4 to comply with the aforesaid directions, the petitioner shall remain present before him on 12th February, 2018, along with copy of his representation dated 4th January, 2018, as well as copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.

All concerned to act upon a copy of this order duly authenticated by the Registry of this Court.
