The matter is pertaining to the election of the Board of Directors for the year 1996-1997 to 2000-2001, which took place on 28.10.1996. The results were declared on 29.11.1996. This court on 2.2.1998 though admitted the matter, but not granted any interim relief.

Therefore, taking overall view of the matter and for the above reason, there is no point in keeping this petition pending. It must have become infructuous. The writ petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged accordingly. No costs.
