These two petitions are seeking a direction to the Scrutiny Committee at Nandurbar to verify the claim of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and positively by 8th August, 2018 so as not to deprive them of their education prospects. The petitioner in Writ Petition No. 8308 of 2018 is desirous of pursuing the post graduate degree course (Master in Business Administration). He appeared for the State CET and stood first in the merit list of the State CET. The academic year is 2018-19. He is sure of being J.V.Salunke,PA

502(i)-WP.8308.2018.doc admitted against a reserved seat in a reputed institution. The institute is also before us as respondent no. 4. 2.

In the light of the requirement of certificate of validity to be produced as a pre-condition for admission, the Nandurbar Scrutiny Committee is called upon by the petitioners to decide the claim, but finding no response from it, these writ petitions. 3.

When they were placed for urgent out of turn hearing, Mr.Kalel learned AGP, on instructions from Mr. G. S. EvnateSenior Research Officer, who is present in court, states that before 8th August, 2018, the claim of the petitioners would be verified and scrutinised by the Scrutiny Committee. Accepting this statement of the learned AGP as an undertaking given to this court, both the writ petitions are disposed of.
