In each of these matters the concerned Scrutiny Committee must decide the pending cases of scrutiny and verification of the Caste/Tribe claims before 8-8-2018 and communicate the orders to the respective petitioners. 3.

Mr. Mendadkar complains and in our opinion rightly, that when such orders and directions are issued the Committees invariably reject the applications seeking Certificates of Validity.

We would not hesitate to take action as we have taken against the Nashik Scrutiny Committee in the event we find any deliberate and intentional act of the above nature by the Committees.

Each of these writ petitions are disposed of by keeping all contentions of the petitioners on merits open. 6.

The learned AGP shall communicate this order forthwith to the Secretary in the Department of Tribal Development, Government of Maharashtra, the concerned Commissioners of Tribal Development and copy of this order, at our request, be also forwarded to the learned Advocate General.
