In pursuance of the order dated 23rd September 2019, the Applicant has published the public notice in daily 'Pudhari' dated 3rd October 2019 to serve the Respondent No. 2. The said notice has taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification.

This is an application for condoning the delay in filing the Criminal Appeal under Section 14 A (1) and (2) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015,seeking bail.

The applicant contends in the application that, there is a delay of three days in filing the Criminal Appeal and the grounds stated in the present application are that, his parents are illiterate, rustic as well as are old age persons and are completely oblivious of legal procedure, due to which they could not approach this Court at earlier point of time. The reasons being sufficient, we condone the delay of three days in filing the Criminal Appeal. Hence, the delay of three days in filing the Criminal Appeal is condoned and application stands disposed of accordingly.
