Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

This application is preferred seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with C.R. No. 64 of 2023 registered at Tardeo police station for the offences punishable under sections 51, 63 and 64 of the Copyright Act, 1957.

By an order dated 3rd August, 2023 this Court was persuaded to grant interim bail ascribing reasons.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the intervening period, charge sheet has been lodged and the applicant is regularly attending the trial Court.

In view of the aforesaid statement and development and Vishal Parekar ...1

32-aba-2177-2023.doc having regard to the punishment the offences under sections 51, 63 and 64 of the Copyrights Act, 1957 entail, I am persuaded to make the order of interim bail absolute.

The order of interim bail dated 3rd August, 2023 is made absolute on the terms and conditions incorporated therein. 7.

In addition, the applicant shall regularly attend the proceedings before the jurisdictional Court.

It is clarified that these prima facie observations are confined to determine entitlement to pre-arrest bail only. Application disposed.
