It is not in dispute that the case of the Petitioner in the present Petition is identical and would be covered by order dated 12 April 2018 passed by this Court (Coram:K.K. Tated & B.P. Colabawalla,JJ.) in Writ Petition No.4573 of 2018 along with connected Writ Petitions. In the circumstances, we are inclined to pass the same order as passed in the aforesaid Writ Petition No.4573 of 2018. Hence, the following order:

ORDER

(i) Having heard learned Counsel for respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing the District Resettlement Officer, Satara, to treat this petition as

wp627-18.doc representation and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a true copy of the petition. Ordered accordingly.

(ii) It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the Petitioner's claim and the District Resettlement Officer, Satara, shall decide the Petitioner's grievance independently and in accordance with law. All contentions are kept open.

(iii) In order to enable the District Resettlement Officer, Satara, to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before him along with true copy of this petition and certified copy of this order.
