Having heard learned counsel for respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose off this petition by directing the District Resettlement Officer, Solapur, to treat this petition as a representation and dispose off the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this petition. Ordered accordingly. 2.

It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petitioner's claim and the District Resettlement Officer, Solapur shall decide the petitioner's grievance independently and in accordance with law. All contentions are kept open.
