1] Heard. Prayer for issuance of witness summons at the behest of petitioner came to be rejected vide impugned order dated 25/02/2019.

2] The witness who was sought to be summoned has only identified the deponent. Considering such status of the witness, court below in my opinion was justified in rejecting the prayer as 1/2

10.361.20 wp.doc such witness who is lawyer by profession cannot be examined in support of contents of the affidavit as the role of such witness is only restricted to identifying the deponent. No case for interference is made out.
