The petitioner has filed this petition with a grievance that the caste claim of the petitioner has not been decided expeditiously, though directed by orders dated 5th February, 2021 and 6th April, 2022.

Mr.Kudle, learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions states that the arguments are already concluded before the respondent no.1 Committee. However, the order has not been passed till date. Statement is accepted.

The respondent no.1 Committee is directed to pass the order on the caste claim of the petitioner within four weeks from 1/2

as23-wpl10368-22.doc today, without fail and shall communicate the order to the petitioner immediately.

The writ petition is disposed off in aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision of the respondent no.1 Committee, the petitioner would be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
