The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks liberty to withdraw the petition with liberty to take recourse to the alternate remedy available in law. The counsel further prays that since an interim protection granted on 14th August 2017 and which is in operation till date, the same may be continued for a period of two weeks from today. The petition disposed of as withdrawn.

Interim protection granted on 14th August 2017 shall continue to operate till 25th January 2019. However, we make it clear that the protection is not continued by taking into consideration the merits of the matter but it is continued only on the ground that the said interim protection was granted on 14th August 2017 and was continued to operate till date.
