This Court has granted ad-interim protection on 12th October, 2021, as it is noticed that the applicants/accused claimed to have committed an offence on 26th July 2020 on which date victim was major as she claimed to be born on 26th July, 2002. 2.

Apart from above, I am informed that charge-sheet against other accused is already filed. Co-accused - Tahir is ordered to be released.

There is unexplained delay in lodging FIR.

In the aforesaid background, ad-interim protection stands confirmed.

In the event of arrest of the applicants in C. R. No.518 of 2021 registered with Navghar Police Station for the offence punishable under Section 376, 376(D), 328, 354(C), 506 of IPC and under Sections 4, 8 and 12 of POCSO Act, they be released on bail on executing P. R. bond of Rs.25,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount.

Applicants shall neither influence the witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence.

Applicants shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when directed.

As such, application stands disposed of.
