As a remedy of revision is available to the petitioner under section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 to assail the impugned recovery certificate as issued against the petitioner, it will be appropriate if the petitioner pursues the alternate statutory remedy.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. All contentions of the petitioner are kept open.

At this stage, Mr. Reis, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the limitation to file the revision may have lapsed. If that be so, the petitioner would always be at liberty to file an application for condonation of delay.
