Speaking to the minutes. In the order dated 25th August, 2016 there is no interim protection granted till the matter is directed to be decided by the Education Officer. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that on 23rd August, 2016 in similar circumstances in Writ Petition (St.) No. 21990 of 2016 the order was passed by this Court to the effect that till the Petitioner's claim is decided, the Respondent-State is directed to maintain status-quo as it exists today in respect of the post occupied by the Petitioner whereas in the present case no protection has been granted.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, we modify the order dated 25th August, 2016 to the extent that after para 2 the following paras be added as Para Nos. 3 and 4.

Till the Petitioner's claim is decided, the Respondent-State is directed to maintain the status-quo as it exists today in respect of the post occupied by the Petitioner.

The Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
