The Applicants, apprehending their arrest, in connection with the investigation of Crime No.537of 2021 registered with Pandharpur City Police Station, Dist. Solapur under Section 306, 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC, are seeking anticipatory bail.

The Applicants are the in-laws of the deceased, who committed suicide on 18.08.2021. She was married with accused No.1 Suraj on 04.05.2021.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. The record discloses that this Court (V.G.Bhist, J) by an order dated 29.10.2021 had directed that the Applicants shall not be arrested till next date, which order has been continued from time-to-time. 4.

The learned counsel for the Applicants states that the investigation is complete and the chargesheet is filed and the husband of the deceased has been released on regular bail. 5.

Considering the over all circumstances and the fact that the investigation is complete and the chargesheet is filed, the custodial interrogation of the Applicants is not necessary. 6.

In the result, the following order is passed:

ORDER

i) In the event of their arrest, in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 537 of 2021 registered with Pandharpur City Police Station, Dist. Solapur, the Applicant No.1 Laxmibai Ambadas Chougule @ Dhotre and Applicant No.2 Babita Madhukar Dhotre shall be released on bail on executing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each with one or two solvent sureties each in the like amount.

ii) The Applicants shall report to the Investigating Officer on 7 and 8 March 2022 between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and as and when required by the Investigating Officer. Sneha Chavan page 2 of 3

iii) The Applicants shall co-operate with the Investigating Agency and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence/witnesses.

iv) Criminal application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
