P. C. :

1.

By the order dated 23rd December 2013, Respondent No.1 was transferred from Mumbai to Kalpkam. Aggrieved by this order, Respondent No.1 filed proceedings before the Central Administrative Tribunal (for short "CAT"), being Original Application No.7 of 2014. The CAT by its order dated 6th January 2014 stayed the said transfer order as well as the relieving order of Respondent No.1.

2.

After the lapse of 4 years, the Petitioner has filed this writ petition and challenged the interim order passed by the CAT. 3.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent, on instructions, makes a statement that the said proceeding (O.A.No.7 of 2014) is scheduled to come up for final patilsr 1 / 2

hearing on 22nd January 2020. This statement is not disputed by the learned counsel for the Petitioner.

4.

In the light of above circumstances, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned interim order passed by the CAT. SufÏce it would be in the interest of justice to direct the CAT to dispose of the said proceeding (O.A.No.7 of 2014) as expeditiously as possible and preferable within the period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

5.

With the aforesaid direction, writ petition is disposed of.
