The Criminal Appeal is against the acquittal of the Respondent / Accused in a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

The present Application is for substituted service on the Respondent / Accused. It is submitted that Section 65 of the Code of Criminal Procedure permits such service to be effected if the Mamta Kale page 1 of 2

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the Applicant, the Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'A' and 'B'. 4.
