The challenge is to the order passed in the RTS Appeal No.186 of 2010 in respect of Mutation Entry No.1211 which has been entered in favour of Respondent No.2. It is well settled that Mutation Entries are made for fiscal purposes and do not confer title to the property in question. No interference is therefore called for with the impugned order. However, it would be open for the Petitioner to adopt appropriate civil proceedings to assert his rights. Needless to state that if any such proceedings are filed, the same would be tried on their own merits and in accordance with law. [R.M.SAVANT, J] VRD
