The petitioner is present-in-person. Mr.Kulkarni, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondent No.2 and Mr.Patel, AGP appears on behalf of respondent No.3.

After making submissions for a long time and consulting his wife, who is also present before the Court, the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw both the petitions with liberty to him to seek an appropriate remedy in regard to his grievances other than the grievances which have been covered by the order dated 22nd December, 2011, passed in writ petition No.1407 of 2008.

In view of the aforesaid prayer made by the petitioner, we dismiss these petitions as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. 4.

In view of the dismissal of the petitions, civil application No. 232 of 2016 will not survive for consideration and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
