Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner/original accused. Perused the letter dated 06/04/2017 sent by the petitioner/accused to the learned Joint Charity Commissioner, Mumbai. Averments made in the said letter prima facie, constitutes the imputations which can harm the reputation of the complainant i.e. respondents herein. As such, no fault can be found in the issuance of process for the offence punishable under Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code.

No case for interference by writ jurisdiction of this Court is made out. The petition is, therefore, rejected. (A.M.BADAR, J.) Gaikwad RD 1/1
