This is an application for extension of time to furnish surety by further period of 8 to 10 weeks in terms of the order dated 30/06/2021. The order allowing the Bail Application was passed by this Court as far back on 30/06/2021. The applicants were permitted to furnish provisional cash bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, each, for a period of eight weeks, in lieu of surety.

By this application, it is contended that the applicant Mr. Rajan Vilas Sawant's wife is a paralytic patient and

24.ia.2740-21.doc having two small children. The applicant has to attend them and due to his family responsibility he was not in a position to arrange surety for himself. Further, due to the pandemic he could not meet his friends and relatives personally to convince them to offer themselves as surety on his bail.

In the interest of justice and for the reasons stated in the application, though the application was opposed by learned APP, I am inclined to allow the application. 4.

As a last chance, extension of 8 weeks is granted to furnish the surety in the terms of the order dated 30/06/2021.
