This Petition was on board on 20th October, 2016 and was adjourned to 25th October,2016. Therefore, at the request of the parties, the Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. The only prayer being pressed on behalf of the Petitioner is that Respondent No.1- Pune Municipal Corporation be directed to consider and dispose of the Petitioner's application/ representation dated 3rd February, 2015, claiming to be entitled to the benefit of the Amnesty Scheme introduced by the State of Maharashtra dated 3rd February, 2016 called the Local Body Tax Amnesty Scheme, 2015. It is the grievance of the Petitioner that in spite of repeated representations, the Respondent- Corporation is not considering the S.R.JOSHI

wp-11575-2016 Petitioner's application / representation, claiming benefit of the Local Body Tax - Amnesty Scheme 2015. The Petitioner's representation dated 3rd February, 2016 to the Joint Commissioner of the Corporation, seeking benefit of the Amnesty Scheme has not yet been disposed of. Mr. Kulkarni, learned Counsel appearing for the RespondentCorporation, on instruction, states that the Petitioner's representation dated 3rd February, 2016 would be considered by Municipal Commissioner / Joint Municipal Commissioner within a period of eight weeks from today, following the principles of natural justice. Petition disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
