By the above Miscellaneous Civil Application filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the Applicant-wife seeks transfer of Marriage Petition No. 951 of 2017 filed by the Respondent-husband and pending before the Family Court at Bandra to the District Court, Satara. 2.

Heard the learned Advocate appearing for the Applicant and the Respondent, who is appearing in person, and the following order is passed by consent:

(i) The Marriage Petition No. 951 of 2017 filed by the Respondent and pending before the Family Court,Bandra, stands transferred to the District Court, Satara.

(ii) The Principal Judge, Bandra, to ensure that the papers and proceedings of Marriage Petition No. 951 of 2017 will reach the District Court,

KPPNair -2Satara, on or before 5th October, 2017. (iii) The parties and/or their Advocates shall appear before the District Court, Satara, on 6th October, 2017 at 11.00 a.m. and obtain appropriate orders/directions.

(iv) The District Court, Satara, shall not grant any adjournment to the parties unless absolutely necessary. The parties too shall not seek any adjournment unless absolutely necessary.

(v) The District Court, Satara, shall endeavour to dispose of Marriage Petition No. 951 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of this order.

(iv) All contentions of the parties are kept open. (v) The Respondent is informed that a case has been filed by the Applicant against him under the Domestic Violence Act, the papers of which shall be served on him within one week from today and the next date of hearing shall also be informed to him. He undertakes to remain present before the Court on the adjourned date.

The above Misc. Civil Application is disposed off in the aforesaid terms.
