The only relief claimed by the Petitioner in this petition is that the concerned authority of the State Government of Maharashtra be directed to consider his application for grant of Arms Licence to him for the Pistol.

This being the only relief claimed by the Petitioner, petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the concerned authority of the State Government of Maharashtra to consider the application of the Petitioner for grant of Arms Licence to him for Pistol, after giving him hearing, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks.
