Criminal Application No.1129 of 2014 has been sent by the Applicant from Jail praying for his release on bail, or, in the alternative, for expediting the hearing of the Appeal. Criminal Application No.1686 of 2014 has been sent by the mother of the Applicant praying for similar relief. Since the relief prayed for in both the Criminal Applications is similar, these Criminal Applications are being decided by this common order. Since Advocate Mrs. Rupali Manik Shinde has been appointed as a Counsel from the Legal Aid Panel to represent the Applicant in Criminal Application No.1129 of 2014, we appoint Advocate Mrs. Rupali Manik Shinde to represent the Applicant in Criminal Application No.1686 of 2014. 1/2

The Appeal filed by the Applicant is of the year 2010 and the connected Appeal is of the year 2009. We are further informed that the Appeal filed by the Applicant along with the companion Appeal is already listed before the Court for final hearing. We are further informed by the learned Counsel for the parties that the Applicant has undergone practically twelve years of imprisonment. In that light of the matter, therefore, these Criminal Applications are partly allowed and the hearing of the Appeals is expedited. The Appeal filed by the Applicant along with the companion Appeal therefor be listed before the Court for final hearing on 19th January, 2015.

Criminal Applications are allowed to the extent indicated above. 4.

A copy of this order be sent to the Applicant, who is undergoing his imprisonment in Jail.

We quantify the fees payable to Mrs. Rupali Manik Shinde, the learned Counsel appointed for the Applicants in both the Criminal Applications, at Rs.3,000/-.
