The petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for quashing and setting-aside the FIR bearing C.R. No.76 of 2014 registered with Gaondevi Police Station at the instance of respondent No.1, for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 354 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Mrs. Mhatre, on the basis of the instructions of Mr. Ananda Kamble, Deputy Inspector of Police, Gaondevi Police Station, who is present in the Court, makes a statement that the subject C.R. was 1/2

WP3438_15.doc investigated and thereafter N. C. Summary was filed in the 40th Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Girgaum, Mumbai on 13.10.2015. She also places on record a report dated 15.10.2015 submitted by Senior Police Inspector of Girgaum Police Station to that effect. 3.
