Heard Mr.Anvil Kalekar, learned counsel for the applicants and Ms. Sneha Bhange, learned counsel for respondents No.1 & 2. 2.

C.R.A. No.552/2017 was disposed of on 12.10.2018 in view of the order dated 24.9.2018 passed in C.R.A. No.249/2018 (Shireen Dady Adenwalla Vs. Yasmin Dinyar Ilavia) and other companion matters. By that decision, it was held that the provisions of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999 are applicable to the premises situate in Pune Cantonment Area.

This Civil Application is taken out by the applicants for amending C.R.A. by adding grounds (r) to (y) as also prayer clauses (aa) and (aaa). In C.R.A. the only issue that arose was applicability of the Act to the premises situate in Pune Cantonment Area. In view thereof, application for amendment cannot be granted and is accordingly rejected. The applicants are at liberty to raise these contentions by instituting appropriate proceedings in this Court. Order accordingly.
