The Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to scrap the appointment of Police Patil in pursuance to notice dated 18th November, 2017.

In the reply filed on behalf of Respondent no.1 it is stated that, after receiving the complaint regarding the Respondent no.2, a detailed enquiry has been initiated and the report of concerned Police authority is being obtained and only after receiving the said report, the question regarding appointment of the Petitioner would be decided. 1/2

In that view of the matter, the petition is pre-mature in nature. The petition is, therefore, rejected reserving the right of the Petitioner to challenge the appointment of Respondent no.2, if made.
