The applicant is seeking bail in CR No.83 of 2012 registered with Amboli Police Station, Mumbai under Section 363(A), 302, 201, 401, 120(B) read with 34 of the I.P.C. and under Section 65 and 67 and 72 of the Information Technology Act, 2005. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is languishing in jail for 3.1/2 years. He further submitted that the applicant being a lady she may be released on bail. Learned A.P.P. on instructions from the officer who is present in court submitted that the trial in the Sessions Case N0.578/2012 has already began and as of today 17 witnesses have been examined by the prosecution. He further submitted that the prosecution further intends to examine five more witnesses in support of its case. The learned counsel appearing for the
ASN 2/2 BA-1667-15 applicant fairly submits that if the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a stipulated period, he will not press the present application for the time being.
2) In view of the above, the Trial Court is hereby directed to conclude the trial within a period of 6-months from today. The applicant is hereby granted with liberty to file fresh application before the Trial Court if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid stipulated period. The present application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
