1] By an Order dated 3rd August 2018, the applicant was granted interim relief.

2] Heard the learned counsel for the applicant, the learned counsel for the Intervener and the learned APP. Perused the record of investigation. 3] The record indicates that, pursuant to Order dated 3rd August 2018, the applicant has deposited the amount of Rs.40,000/- in the Registry of this Court. Perusal of the first information report would indicate that, the first informant had advanced a hand-loan of Rs.25,000/- to the 1/2

It is alleged that the applicant has promised to make the first informant a member of his Non-Government Organisation namely Rashtriya Manav Adhikar Bhrashtachar Nirmulan Samiti. However, subsequently he resiled from his promise. It is to be noted here that, the first informant is a practicing Advocate and without verifying the fact whether the said Organisation really exists and works in the said field, has believed the words of the applicant and had parted with the said amount. 4] As far as monetary transaction between the first informant and the applicant is concerned, the applicant has duly deposited the said sum of Rs.40,000/- in the Registry of this Court.

In view thereof, interim relief granted by Order dated 3rd August 2018 is hereby confirmed.

5] Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 6] In view of Order passed in A.B.A. No.1552 of 2018, Criminal Application No.1159 of 2018 for intervention does not survive and is accordingly disposed off.
