This is an application seeking stay to the operation, execution and implementation of the Award dated 27th October 2014 passed by the M.A.C.T., Mumbai in Claim Application No.1165 of 2011. By the said Award, the applicant - Insurance Company is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.16,43,337/- towards compensation to respondent Nos.1 to 3. 2.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that, applicantInsurance Company undertakes to deposit the entire amount in the Tribunal within a period of six weeks from today. The statement is 1/2 CAF-1574-16==.doc

accepted as an undertaking given to the Court. Subject to condition of deposit of the aforesaid amount in M.A.C.T., Mumbai, stay is granted to the operation, execution and implementation of the Award dated 27th October 2014, as passed by the Tribunal. Civil Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

M.A.C.T., Mumbai, is directed to invest the aforesaid amount, if deposited by the applicant - Insurance Company, in any Nationalized Bank for a period of one year initially, to be renewed subsequently, as and when necessary. On failure of the applicant - Insurance Company to deposit the said amount within the stipulated time, the stay would automatically stand vacated, without further reference to the Court. 4.
