Grievance raised in this petition is that the petitioner was mercilessly beaten by the three officials whose names have been mentioned in the application / petition.

In view thereof, we direct the DIG (Prison), Nashik to consider the grievance of the petitioner as reflected in his application addressed to this Court through the Superintendent of Nashik Central Prison, Nashik dated 30.06.2014 and initiate the appropriate action / enquiry within six weeks from today, if not already initiated / taken. 3.

Needless to observe that while making such enquiry, the concerned authority shall keep in mind the principles of natural justice and give opportunity to the three officials against whom the allegations are made to put forth their contentions.

With the above observations, writ petition stands disposed of. 5.

Parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order. 6.
