Heard Mr. Tripathy, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant and Ms. Shinde, learned APP for the Respondent-State. 2.

The Applicant - Accused No.1, is a student aged 21 years studying at the Nutan College of Engineering at Talegaon Dabhade.

The material on record shows that the informant and the deceased, i.e, Dhananjay Bansode (i.e., the father of Accused Nos.1 and 2) had come in contact with each other through social media and, thereafter, they became very close. Due to said relations between the father of Accused Nos.1 and 2 and the informant, a dispute started between the Accused and his father. Due to the said relationship outside of marriage between the informant and the deceased, sons i.e., Accused were enraged and, therefore, committed the offense which is alleged. 5.

In the present case, the Charge-sheet is already fled. The Applicant is a 21 years old student studying in the Engineering College. There are no criminal antecedents. The trial is unlikely to be concluded soon and is likely to take a considerably long time. The Applicant does not appear to be a fight risk. 6.

Accordingly, the Applicant can be enlarged on bail by imposing conditions. Hence, the following Order:

O R D E R

(a) The Applicant - Sujit Dhananjay Bansode in connection with

C.R. No.1949 of 2022 registered with the Mhalunge Police Chowki, Chakan Police Station, Pune shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(b) On being released on bail, the Applicant shall furnish his contact number and residential address to the Investigating Offcer and shall keep him updated, in case there is any change.

(c) The Applicant shall report to the Mhalunge Police Chowki, Chakan Police Station, Pune once every week i.e, on every Sunday between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. till the conclusion of trial.

(d) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Offcer. The Applicant shall not tamper with evidence.

(e) The Applicant shall regularly attend the trial. The Applicant shall co-operate with the trial Court and shall not seek unnecessary adjournments.
