P.C.:- Application of Petitioner for furlough leave has been rejected by the Competent Authority on the ground that, Petitioner is ordinary citizen of Nepal and the surety proposed by him is also resident of Nepal. The Police have expressed apprehension that, if the Petitioner is released on furlough leave, he will not return back to the Jail Authority for undergoing sentence.

3) We find no error in the impugned Orders dated 22nd October, 2018 passed by the Competent Authority and dated 1st January, 2019 passed by the Appellate Authority.

Petition is accordingly dismissed.
