Learned Counsel for the applicant does not press this application, which is a second bail application, as the trial is being expedited.

Learned A.P.P states that presently trials of the year 2015 are taken up by the learned Additional Sessions Judge at Vaduj, Satara. He states that a direction can be given to the learned Judge to decide the case expeditiously.

The applicant has been in custody since March, 2015. There is no progress in the case and till date, charge is also not framed. It appears SQ Pathan 1/2

ba.1746.16.17.doc that infact, on a few occasions, the applicant was not produced before the trial Judge.

Considering the fact, that the cases of 2015 are being heard by the trial Court and the present case also being of 2015, it would be appropriate to direct the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Vaduj, Satara to dispose of the applicant's case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within nine months from the date of receipt of this order. 5.

The Superintendent, Satara District Jail is also directed to ensure that the applicant is produced on all dates given by the trial Court. 6.

The Application is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid directions.

It is made clear that this application has not been considered on merits.
