The Criminal Appeal No.103/2022 is pending final disposal before this Court. The Applicant was granted bail pending the Appeal vide order dated 11/03/2022 passed in Interim Application No.419/2022 in Criminal Appeal No.103/2022. The Applicant was directed to be released on bail on execution of PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. Vide clause No.3 of the operative part, the Applicant was directed to furnish cash bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of 8 weeks in lieu of sureties. Nesarikar

This period has expired, but the Applicant has not furnished sureties. This application is preferred for extension of time to furnish sureties.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that he is a senior citizen. He has tried hard to find sureties, but so far he was unable to find sureties. Initially he was not aware of the procedure. But now he is successful in finding the sureties and will be furnishing the same at the earliest. Therefore considering these submissions, time to furnish sureties is extended for a further period of 8 weeks from today. Rest of the clauses in the operative part of the order dated 11/03/2022 are retained as they are.
