We have heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner. Under the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks admission to the D.Ed. Course in any Junior College of Education situated in Kolhapur region for the academic year 2006-07. This Court under its order dated 21st December 2006, granted ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (d). Prayer clause (d) reads as under : "(d) Pending the hearing and final disposal of the present Writ Petition, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondent Authority to admit the Petitioner to D.Ed. Gaikwad RD 1/2

(239)WPNo.71422006 Course in any Junior College of Education for the academic year 2006-07."

In fact, the Petition stood allowed on the date the interim order was passed. It is also submitted that the Petitioner was admitted in the D.Ed. Course for the academic year 2006-07. The said Course is only for two years. In fact, nothing would survive for adjudication now.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner was admitted in non-grant Division and was required to pay fees of Rs.12000/-.

The Petition is restricted to secure admission in any College of Education in Kolhapur region in the D.Ed. Course for the academic year 2006-07. The ground sought to be added in the additional affidavit certainly is not prayed in the Writ Petition. In light of the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as the Petitioner now would have completed the Course also. Rule discharged. No costs.
