The Petitioner approached this Court when the State Human Rights Commission in Maharashtra had not been constituted. Concededly in the year 2013 the Maharashtra State Human Commission became functional with the appointment of Justice S. R. Bannurmath (Rtd.) as the Chairperson with two persons Mr. M. A. Sayed and Mr. Bhagwat Rao.

Thus, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous for the reason the Petitioner wanted constitution of the Human Rights Commission which was constituted in the year 2013.
